Cast Iron Drop Leaf Table Supports, they are spring loaded and  mounted underneath a table.  The small section is mounted on the leaf and the longer section is mounted on the skirt of the table.  When open it measures 11 1/2".  Patent  date is 1883  and they are restored and ready to be installed

Cast Iron Drop Leaf Table Supports, used to extend and support a leaf on a table .  The end pictured on the right is mounted on the skirt of the table and the other end is mounted on the leaf of the table. The end pieces may vary in shape.  When extended it measures 10".  Patent  date is 1883  and they are restored and ready to be installed

Cast Iron Drop Leaf Table Supports, they are mounted underneath a table.  In the left picture the left side is mounted on the leaf and the right side is mounted onto the skirt of the table.  The fork is squeezed together to release the support bar and drops the leaf of the table.  When open it measures 10".  Patent  date is 1890  and they are restored and ready to be installed
